There are three payment options available – please contact administration to discuss your needs

Q: When do I need to have the Police clearance and Working with Children check completed?

It is required at time of enrolment or a willingness to complete this as soon as possible.

Q: Who will arrange my work placement?

Hope Institute will arrange your work placement, student are also welcome to arrange their own if desired.

Q; How long will my work placement go for?

Work placement is for a minimum of 120 hours, for 3 consecutive weeks.

Q: Will I get paid for my work placement?

No, this is a requirement of your qualification.

Q: Is there any extra expense involved?

Students are responsible for the expense of their Police Clearance and /or working with children checks.
Students are to supply their own Uniform (white polo T-shirt and Black pants), closed non- slip black shoes.
Students are also responsible for their own travel expense to and from the work placements.

Q: Can I do work placement according to my availability?

Usually work placement is completed in 3 consecutive weeks after the completion of assessment tasks, adjustments can be made to suit the student’s needs.

Q: What kind of clothing are we supposed to wear for work experience?

Students are to supply their own Uniform (white polo T-shirt and Black pants), closed non- slip black shoes.

Q: Why do I need a USI and why do I need one?

When undertaking nationally recognised training you must have a USI to receive your qualification or statement of attainment. The Unique Student Identifier or USI is free and easy to create.
